Camp Junior Meteorologist – Ages 6-8
Price varies by location
Campers will become meteorologists for the week and discover why our weather changes! Jr. Meteorologists will measure and record rainfall, create a water cycle wheel, build a weather station, learn about the Greenhouse Effect, create a terrarium, design their own tornadoes, create “snow” during the summer and more! Before you know it, Jr. Meteorologist will be on the 6 o’clock news doing the weather!
In addition: Campers will end the week demonstrating the three states of matter by making and eating some delicious ice cream. Throughout the week they will take home projects that include: sun prints, UV beads, a wind vane, anemometer, and a very cool rain stick!

Forms & Resources
Getting ready for camp should be an exciting process for your entire family. Many families attend multiple camps throughout the summer. For your convenience we have posted our Welcome Packet in the form of a parent newsletter on-line in PDF format. This document covers everything from Club SciKidz policies to camp dates and security issues.
The Welcome Packet mentions an ‘Administration of Medicine Form’. If your child requires any medications during the time he/she is at the camp, please download this form and print it, fill in the required information, and bring it with the child on the first day of camp.
Online Camp Evaluation
After camp is completed, please take the time to complete our online survey. The survey is instrumental in providing feedback so we can continue to make Club SciKidz the best science and technology camp it can be!
